We Started Tinting Homes

The same film science, applied to the window you sit beside every day.

We Started Tinting Homes

We began doing residential installations after too many customers asked the same question in the shop: can you do this to my living room? The answer turned out to be yes, and the results were bigger than we expected.

Home glass is usually large, south or west facing, and untinted. That combination creates the hot room every house has — the one nobody uses in the afternoon. Film changes that room's temperature and, just as importantly, its glare. Television screens, monitors, and kitchen counters all become usable again.

The second benefit is protection. The same UV that cracks a dashboard bleaches hardwood, rugs, artwork, and furniture fabric. You usually notice it when you move a couch and find the original colour underneath.

Privacy is the third reason people call. Ground floor windows facing a sidewalk or a neighbour's driveway can be treated so you keep your view out while cutting the view in during daylight.

Residential work is slower and more careful than a car. The glass is bigger, the panes are sealed units, and the environment has to be clean. We take our time, mask the area, and treat your floors and sills like they matter — because they do.
