Our First Local Switch Tint Installs
After years of testing, the product went on real customer vehicles.
This is the milestone we have been working toward since 2020. Switch Tint is now going on customer vehicles here in Ottawa, and as far as we know, we are one of the only shops in Canada installing this technology.
The first installs were deliberately slow. We booked them with plenty of time, walked each customer through how the system works, and followed up afterward instead of just handing back the keys.
The reaction is consistent and it is always the same moment: the switch. Clear to dark in an instant, on a real car, in a driveway. Everyone reaches for their phone.
What has been more interesting is how people actually use it day to day. It is not a party trick that gets used once. Parked downtown with gear in the car, dark. Highway at night, clear. Kids asleep in the back on a bright afternoon, dark. It turns out the value is in having the choice.
We are keeping install volume controlled for now. Every vehicle teaches us something about fitment and wiring on a different platform, and we would rather build that knowledge properly than chase volume. If you want to be on the list, reach out — we will be honest about the wait.
