Switch Tint Becomes a Brand
From an in-house project to a product we sell under our own name.
For five years, Switch Tint was something we built, tested, and installed ourselves. This year it becomes a brand of its own.
The change is about more than a name. It means standardized components instead of one-off builds, documented installation procedures, proper packaging, and a support structure behind every unit that goes out. It means we can supply it, not just install it.
Nothing about the standard changes. Every system still gets tested before it ships, and the fitment work we have done on each vehicle platform stays the foundation. What changes is scale — we can now say yes to people we previously had to turn away.
For Ottawa customers, the shop experience is the same. Book, come in, four to six hours, drive out with glass that switches. If anything, availability improves.
We want to be clear about where this came from: a slow period in 2020 when we had no idea what was coming, and decided to build something instead of waiting. Five years later it is the thing we are most proud of.
