Picking a Shade You Will Not Regret
The conversation we have with almost every customer.

The most common regret in tinting is not going too light. It is going as dark as possible on day one and living with it through a Canadian winter.
Here is what we ask people. How much do you drive at night? Ottawa gets dark before five in December, and a 5% rear window with a wet road and no streetlights is a real adjustment, especially reversing out of a parking spot.
Do you have a backup camera and blind spot monitoring? These make dark rear glass far more manageable. Without them, we tend to steer people toward 20% or 35%.
What colour is the car? Darker shades read as more aggressive on black and grey. On white and silver, a 20% has enormous contrast and can look heavier than people expect.
And finally: what will bother you in two years? The look you want at the shop and the look you want every day are not always the same.
We stock 5% through 80%, and we will hold samples against your own glass in daylight before anything gets cut. There is no pressure either way — we just want you happy with it long after you drive off.
