Tint Myths We Hear Every Week
Five things customers repeat that are not true.

"Darker means cooler." Not necessarily. Heat rejection comes from the film's technology, not its shade. A light ceramic film outperforms a dark dyed one on heat every time.
"Tint will break my rear defroster." It will not. Film goes over the lines and quality film handles defroster heat without issue. Damage happens when film is removed carelessly or when someone scrapes the interior glass.
"You can wash the windows the next day." Please do not. Let the film cure. Keep the windows up for a few days and avoid cleaning the interior glass for about a week.
"Bubbles mean a bad install." Small water pockets right after install are normal moisture and disappear as it cures. Bubbles that appear months or years later are adhesive failure, and that is a different problem entirely.
"All ceramic film is the same." There is a wide quality range under that word. Particle quality, adhesive, scratch coat, and clarity vary enormously between manufacturers, and the cheap end of ceramic can still disappoint.
When in doubt, ask us. We would much rather answer a question than fix a misunderstanding after the fact.
