Frost Film vs Blinds and Curtains

Why a lot of homeowners take the blinds down permanently.

Frost Film vs Blinds and Curtains

Blinds solve privacy by removing your window. Frost film solves it by changing your glass.

In practical terms, that means a bathroom or a front entry with frost film stays bright all day and is private all day, with nothing to adjust, nothing to clean, and nothing hanging in front of the glass. There is no moment where you realize the blinds have been closed since March.

Maintenance is the other difference. Blinds in a bathroom collect moisture and dust and eventually warp or discolour. Frost film is a sealed surface you wipe like glass.

It also looks considerably better on modern windows. Awkward small windows, odd-shaped sidelights, and stair landing glass that no blind fits properly all become clean, uniform, finished surfaces.

Frost is permanent, which is the honest trade-off — it is not something you open when you want the view. That is why we use it in the rooms where you never want the view anyway: bathrooms, entries, ground-floor windows facing a walkway, and glass beside a neighbouring wall.

It can be removed professionally later if the room's purpose changes.
